A lovely and original brooch converted from a shoe buckle, this one is relatively large and is curved at the width. There is an inner metal band with goldtone rivets, the rivets have been scanned and tested positive at 3ct gold so perhaps this is considered gold filled. The paste is all in good condition – there is minimal wear around the table facets. The brooch measures 4.4cm long and 2.8m wide. The box is for display only and does not form part of this listing.
