Amethyst Shamrock 9k Gold Brooch Pin Antique Victorian c1890. Charming lucky shamrock to the front of this antique 9ct yellow gold brooch or pin dating from the late Victorian period. The shamrock is formed using amethyst stones for the leaves and a seed pearl to the centre. The stones have been tested and are in great order please see the pictures. Good secure clasp and pin. The gold is marked to the rear, this simply reads’9ct’. Size 4.5 cm or 1.7 inches. Size of shamrock 2.0 x 1.5 cm or 0.8 x 0.6 inches. Weight 2.6 grams or 1.6 penny weight.
